Individual Consultancy - Communication and Advocacy National Consultation (2nd Round) on the post 2015 Development Agenda

Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant- Communication and Advocacy will work closely with the lead consultant and will provide inputs for the report writing. The main responsibility of the consultant will include:

  • Online survey (will also explore the option of use of cellular technology) using innovative mechanisms for Inclusive and Participatory Engagement
  • Conduct community based focus group discussion (in partnership with a CSOs network) to gather inputs for improving capacities and institutional effectiveness
  • Conduct short interviews, videos/ photos for youth, women, labor, government etc.
  • Develop printing and advocacy material
  • Assist the lead consultant in organizing one provincial (Balochistan) and one National stakeholder’s consultation
  • Provide inputs to the report as required by the lead consultant

Period of assignment/services (if applicable): The consultancy will be based in Islamabad with 30 work days spread over a period starting w.e.f. signing of contract till 30 September 2014

UNDP will not assume the responsibility for the misplacement or premature opening of the proposals, when the instructions noted above are not properly followed.
  2. Also note that our system will not accept emails those are more than 3.5 MB size. If required, segregate your emails to accommodate email data restrictions. For segregated emails please use sequence of emails like Email 1 of 3, Email 2 of 3 and so on in the subject line. For attachment purposes please only use MS Word, Excel, Power Point or PDF formats.

If you request additional information, please write to procurement.info@undp.org the team will provide necessary information within due date. However, any delay in providing such information will not be considered a reason for extending the submission date of your quotation.  All/any query regarding the submission of the quotation may be sent prior to the deadline at the e-mail/address mentioned above.

Pakistan's One UN Programme (OP I) was signed on 4 February 2009 in the presence of the UN Secretary General and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Initially for a two-year period from 2009 to 2010, OP I was extended until December 2012 by mutual agreement of the Government of Pakistan and the UN.
