Individual Consultancy-National Consultant: Finalization of MAF Report

Duties and Responsibilities: The key deliverables are as follows:

  • Brush up / add more substance to the situation analysis part including review of policies and their impact etc.
  • Refine / add / delete – any text / proposals as deem appropriate
  • Have a final discussion with the respective provincial education department and for their endorsement and a national stakeholder consultation
  • Edit the report and finalize it

Period of Assignment/Services: The consultancy will be based in Islamabad with 20 work days spread over a period starting w.e.f. immediately after signing of the contract till 15 August 2014

Pakistan's One UN Programme (OP I) was signed on 4 February 2009 in the presence of the UN Secretary General and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Initially for a two-year period from 2009 to 2010, OP I was extended until December 2012 by mutual agreement of the Government of Pakistan and the UN.
