Description of the assignment: SPFD is supporting the Local Government and Rural Development Department, Government of Balochistan to provide an Institutional Development Expert for achieving the tasks of the Cabinet Committee and the Technical Sub-Committee notified by the Government of Balochistan.

Pakistan's One UN Programme (OP I) was signed on 4 February 2009 in the presence of the UN Secretary General and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Initially for a two-year period from 2009 to 2010, OP I was extended until December 2012 by mutual agreement of the Government of Pakistan and the UN.
