The N-Peace Awards 2014: Pakistan joins the search for inspirational stories of peace in Asia
The N-Peace Awards shine a light on the tireless and often unrecognized efforts of both women and men who work with communities across Asia to achieve lasting peace. In its fourth year, N-Peace is excited to announce that Pakistan is joining the N-Peace Awards for the first time! Four new categories in the 2014 N-Peace Awards have also been announced. The achievements of women at the grassroots level will continue to be celebrated with the ‘Untold stories – women transforming their communities’ awards that are selected online by the public. The four new categories will recognize work by the media, by a peace mobilizer at the national or regional level, by a young peacebuilder, and by an organization with a successful and innovative approach to community peacebuilding.
Nominations will open in late March. Let’s celebrate the stories of Pakistan’s inspirational peacemakers by nominating them for a 2014 N-Peace Award!
