  • Documentary on General Elections 2013

    The project was set up following a request by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to the United Nations for electoral assistance. The project takes an electoral cycle approach supporting the periods before, during and after elections. The two phases of the project are Phase I: pre-elections and elections and Phase II: post-elections. Phase I is focused on supporting the ECP to prepare and conduct the general elections. This documentary showcases the support that UNDP provided for democratic transition in Pakistan.

  • Road to Resilience - Bridging Relief & Development

    In response to the 2010 floods, UN, together with Pakistani civil society organizations and with the support from many of our partners, worked very closely with the Government of Pakistan to implement a large-scale Early Recovery Programme.This documentary highlights the focus of the programme: Rehabilitation of community infrastructure; building resilience, creating livelihood opportunities and re-establishing government capacity to provide basic services.
