Continuing its commitment to the principle of ‘Leave No One Behind’, UNDP supported the inclusion of a transgender person, Ms. Aisha Mughal, in the official delegation of Pakistan to attend the review session of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) on 12 February 2020 in Geneva. It was a historic moment for the country as it was the first time ever that a transgender person was provided an opportunity to be part of the reporting procedure at an official treaty body review.
